Evaporative Condensers

What Is a Closed Circuit Evaporative Condenser?

A closed circuit evaporative condenser is a hybrid cooling solution that condenses refrigerants inside a sealed coil, while air and water flow over the coil to remove heat through evaporation.

It works when a refrigerant gas circulates through a closed coil circuit. Water is sprayed over the coil while fans draw ambient air through the unit. As the water evaporates, heat is efficiently removed from the refrigerant inside the coil, causing it to condense before being returned to the process.

This indirect evaporative cooling method provides high heat rejection capacity in a compact footprint.

Compact Condensing System for Refrigerant Gases

Achieve efficient heat rejection with closed circuit evaporative condensers.

Looking for a reliable solution for high-efficiency heat rejection in demanding industrial applications? Closed circuit evaporative condensers from DHD Cooling offer compact, efficient performance utilising a condensing coil contained within a cooling tower.

These systems are ideal for refrigeration and HVAC processes, combining the benefits of evaporative heat transfer with closed-loop condensing coils.

Why Choose a Closed Circuit Evaporative Condenser?

High Thermal Efficiency:

Combining evaporative cooling with a closed coil delivers excellent performance in a smaller unit size compared to air-cooled systems.

Water & Energy Savings:

Efficient evaporation significantly reduces energy consumption for fan and pump operation compared to traditional air-cooled condensers.

Compact Footprint:

Ideal for space-constrained sites, closed circuit condensers provide high-capacity heat rejection in a smaller package.

Year-Round Operation:

Optional features like variable-speed fans, water treatment systems and dry operation modes allow flexibility across seasonal conditions.
